At Ajo Veterinary Clinic we provide routine surgical services at the high standards set by The American Animal Hospital Association, (AAHA) by whom we are certified. We consider our anesthesia monitoring to meet the highest standard. We use a technician who has had advanced training in anesthesia monitoring. This person’s job is to monitor the patient from induction, through surgery and recovery. Standard monitoring includes heart and respiration rate, blood pressure, Oxygen content of the blood or carbon dioxide production, body temperature and depth of anesthesia. We use a variety of pain control measures to keep our patients as comfortable as possible during and after the procedures.
Ajo Veterinary Clinic provides a variety of surgical services from spay and neuter, to tumor removal, exploratory laparotomy, dental cleaning and extractions, biopsies. Also caesarian sections, and bladder stone removal along with wound repair and many other common procedures.
